L2-transforms for boundary value problems

In this article, we will show the complex inversion formula for the inversion of the L2-transform and also some applications of the L2, and Post Widder transforms for solving singular integral equation with trigonometric kernel. Finally, we obtained analytic solution for a partial differential equation with non-constant coefficients.

Existence of multiple solutions for Sturm-Liouville boundary value problems

In this paper, based on variational methods and critical point theory, we guarantee the existence of infinitely many classical solutions for a two-point boundary value problem with fourth-order Sturm-Liouville equation; Some recent results are improved and by presenting one example, we ensure the applicability of our results.

On a class of boundary value problems involving the p-biharmonic operator

A nonlinear boundary value problem involving the p-biharmonic operator is investigated, where p > 1. It describes various problems in the theory of elasticity, e.g. the shape of an elastic beam where the bending moment depends on the curvature as a power function with exponent p− 1. We prove existence of solutions satisfying a quite general boundary condition that incorporates many particular b...

Computation of Green's functions for boundary value problems with Mathematica

This paper is devoted to construct an algorithm that allows us to calculate the explicit expression of the Green’s function related to a n – order linear ordinary differential equation, with constant coefficients, coupled with two – point linear boundary conditions. We develop this algorithm by making a Mathematica package.

A spectral collocation method based on integrated Chebyshev polynomials for two-dimensional biharmonic boundary-value problems

This paper reports a new spectral collocation method for numerically solving two-dimensional biharmonic boundary-value problems. The construction of the Chebyshev approximations is based on integration rather than conventional differentiation. This use of integration allows: (i) the imposition of the governing equation at the whole set of grid points including the boundary points and (ii) the s...
